Sierra Nevada en verano

From Padrollano —the urban area of Sierrra Nevada ski resort— you can take several different routes. Also, you can take the cable-car or the chair lift (only during summer).

Apart from Padrollano, another interesting starting point is Hoya de la Mora.

When you follow one of these routes, you will find ice fields, irrigation ditches which guide the water coming from the melting snow, cows, sheep and an a very nice endemic plant called ''estrella de las nieves''. All this magnificent scenery, along with the thaw, will make you be dumbstruck.

For adventurous bike lovers: BikePark

When it is not ski season, there is just one bus which goes up there from Granada bus station at 9:00 a.m. and it comes back at 05:00 p.m.

During summer, when there is no snow, you can go up to the Albergue Universitario (Hoya de la Mora). To confirm if the buses are working, please call Autobuses Tocina: +34 958 465 022
