Museum of Gipsy Women
Learn about the history of a people who are proud of their traditions through the eyes of their women

This ethnological museum is a project set in motion by ROMI, The Association of Gypsy Women. The objective is to publicise, disseminate and safeguard gypsy culture over the course of the centuries, placing emphasis on the role played by gypsy women.

It is housed inLa Chumbera municipal complex and provides the best opportunity to become acquainted with the history of the gypsy people, who have lived in Granada for five hundred years and now represent a fundamental part of the city, having left a mark that forms an essential component of its present-day character.
