Granada Card and disability
The Granada card is a tourist card that includes the entrance to monuments and transport in the city. It supposes a 30% of saving for all the people, reason why special tariffs do not exist, except the kids option.
If a person with a disability travels alone and wants to visit Granada, it would be better for them to purchase discounted tickets directly at the monuments and pay only for the transport they will use.
The visit to the Alhambra must be planned prior to the arrival. Depending on the dates it is difficult to find tickets at the ticket office. We always recommend you to buy your tickets in advance because you can buy a discounted ticket (for people with disability over 32%). Then, you will have to go to the ticket office to show the supporting document (the document that prove your disability).
If a person with disability travels accompanied by one or more people, the easiest option for them is to buy the Granada Card. Maybe the person with a disability will pay a little more, but the rest of the people would benefit so it would be a make up for one ticket and the other(s).
The visit to the Alhambra includes the visit to Nasrid Palaces You will have a specific visiting time, chosen at the time of purchase, which should be the same for all of you in order to enter together. It can be difficult to find same day and time tickets on the webpage of the Alhambra and on Granada Card website.
It is not possible to make any changes or modifications for adapting time entry.
With Granada Card you don''t have to go to the ticket office and everyone would buy tickets with the same dates of visit and time.
The comfort of the Granada Card is very valuable. You will avoid queuing at the ticket office to show the disability card.
We recommend you to think about which monuments you are going to visit, to consult prices, to estimate which transport will be used and how many people is traveling. Then, to compare prices and to choose the option you find most valuable.
Consult the tips to visit the Alhambra with disabilities.
