Fuente del Avellano

This walk along the left side of the River Darro will bring you closer to the history of poetry and literature in Granada.

In 1897, Ángel Ganivet and Fuente del Avellano fraternity were gathering together next to this fountain, while enjoying the views of the caves and the Sacromonte Abbey.

Since 2003, several plates with poems written by local and international authors are along the way guiding you to the fountain.
