Filming authorisation

The production company will need to take out compulsory civil liability insurance and present it for the accreditation procedure, together with the name of the insurance company and the policy number. The production company shall take out the insurance policy at its expense, ensuring that it will cover civil liability for any exposure to risks arising from this authorisation. Compliance with municipal by-laws during filming and photography sessions is mandatory, paying special attention to protected historical buildings, parks and gardens.
This permit may be revoked at any time. In other words, the authorisation is granted at the discretion of the organisation and may be modified or even cancelled at any time for a justified reason, in which case the holder will not be entitled to a refund or compensation.
The production company shall comply with the indications provided by the Local Police at all times, with regard to the itineraries used to reach the various filming locations within the city. The production company shall also comply with the areas designated for parking vehicles.
The production company shall take any measures required to protect the environment and restrict damage to property and annoyance to citizens due to pollution, noise or any other consequence of its operations.
The Granada Film Office processes filming permits but it is the competence of the various Municipal Districts to issue them. Therefore, the name and logos of Granada City Council and GRANADA FILM OFFICE must appear in the production's credits. Moreover, the Granada Film Office shall receive notice of the day of premiere, distribution and/or release of the production. A copy of the production and two photographs of the filming are required for our files.
