Where can I find accommodation in Granada?
Before you arrive, you can register in ERASBOOK, the Erasmus social network in Granada. You can also subscribe to Facebook groups, like Amistad Andalucía or Erasmus in Granada, where you will find advertisements for apartments and shared flats. This is an initial way to get in touch and arrive in Granada with a few addresses. One good solution when you arrive is to go to the university faculties where you''ll find the walls full of advertisements of rooms for rent and shared flats. You will also find advertisements everywhere in the city: at bus stops, on the walls of buildings and so forth. It won''t take you long to find a flat. You can visit 6-7 flats in one day and then decide which one you prefer. Rent varies from €150 to €300 a month, property owners'' association fees not included. The average rent is €200 and €30 for the association fees. Normally, flats are shared among 3-6 students. This is very useful for practicing your Spanish and making friends. You can also find student housing. This is the most expensive solution. The price is €500-€700 a month and includes meals, cleaning and laundry.
The City Hall manages the Fernando de los Ríos student housing via the GEGSA company.
